I narrowed my choices to either the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical or the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol. Both are excellent shotguns with similar features, gas operated, outstanding dependability, great ergonomics, and similar prices. I think Benelli and Beretta both recommend either improved cylinder or cylinder chokes for slugs. You can maybe reach out to Beretta about a different choke or try Federal flight control shotshells.
